After struggling with installation and getting XnView installed (no gui package manager works, so the only way to install it was 'sudo dpkg -i XnViewMP-linux-x64.deb' , which worked, however, nothing happens when I try to launch it.
Is XnView not compatible with Debian 12 or is the problem with Xfce? I worked on other versions of Linux a couple of years ago - never had this happen.
I presume there are other packages that might need installing.
Before I spend another hour fighting this problem, anyone know of the secret sorcery required to fix this?

Whether I launch it from console or from the GUI, nothing happens. No popups, no warnings/errors, nothing at all.
