Resizing with XnResize

I am trying to resize a couple of pictures.
Most of the pictures that I resize all come out fine.
For some reason pictures with a different than standard size all get corrupted when I try to downsize them. It looks like all the rows shift in a certain way.
I have meddled with almost all the settings. I tried all the different resample algorithms, even changed the metadata settings.
The original files are all .dds files. The one added to this post are converted to .jpeg files.
My assumption is that I am not the only one with this issue and that it is something on my side, but sadly I have not been able to find it on the forums.
