Update catalog from files does not delete people from catalog

Post by michel038 »

Choose a photo where face tags are already stored as xmp data .
Catalog filter shows a count for these people.

Select this photo, Use : Metadata > Clean > XMP
use : View > Update catalog from files
:bug: In catalog filter, the count stays at same value for these people. Selecting a people shows the photo, but there are no more xmp data and face tags.

I downladed v1.7 zip file, unzipped ONLY xnviewmp.exe to replace previous version . Should I replace all the files ?

I must also point out that I have a "base path" F:\Photos

Same bug still present with this v1.7...

Perhaps same [url=viewtopic.php?f=83&t=47023]problem[url], without 'base path' it seems to work...
