Hi friends, I'm a big XnView fan and grateful to the developers, but a simple user and I apologize for my ignorance of all the settings.
I got a new computer and I'm just trying to make it work like it did on the old one. In particular, I want my images to open up in "fit to window" by default. I found the autofit menu, which has amazing detail, and the / key works fine, but can anyone tell me how to set the program so it opens as fit to window every time?
I'm sure this has been covered, but I can't find it. Thank you!
set default autofit?

There are a lot of settings options, generally arranged logically, so it is always worth exploring the setting available, some unexpected ones could be worth discovering...

Found it! Tools, Options, View, Autofit drop down
Thanks so much. You're right about digging around.

Re: set default autofit?
Tools > Settings... for me in Linux, and also I think in Windows, but in Macs possibly different to be consistent with standard Mac interface terms?
