BLOB data

After opening up the xnview.db file in a SQL lite i discovered thatr the Meta data is in a BLOB. How can you view that data? I am on a project to find duplicates in my catalog and i need the metadata to help find dupes based on creation date, taken date etc.

currently there is no easy way to decompress BLOB data
