More and more phones can take HDR photos, more and more people are buying HDR monitors. I think the time has come for our favorite XNView MP program to be able to fully process HDR images - i.e. all standard operations, all or almost all filters, and of course color conversions from the current 8 bits to max 32 bits in a single color.
That's how I could see the XnView MP 2.0 version.

I totally agree. I have bought new camera with HDR (HLG) and new HDR monitor, but pictures seems so poor at this case in XnView. XnView is great application, so, this feature I miss.

I'd be happy with just being able to view them for a start. On Linux that is.
Get the bugs fixed, THEN start adding features. It sucks, but someone has to do it.
