Offset background color
I think it would be nice if the Offset tool remembered the last background color instead of always defaulting to black. Also, the Presets feature in the Offset tool doesn't seem to function.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.8.7. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
