1.8.6 MacOS Ratings, Colour Labels in JPG files not recognised

I am using ACDSee Photo Professional which saves ratings, labels into the jpeg file. XnView on PC can recognise them but not the Mac Version.

I can exchange files between ACDsee Mac/PC and both recognise labels, ratings.

it seems to be an issue with ACDSee Mac 11 which does not embed ratings/labels correctly. If I remember correctly labels do actually embed and show in XnView MP but not ratings. Ratings from the PC version of ACDSee show properly in XnView MP Mac and PC version.
