When you have a Windows shortcut link (extension .lnk), the main window correctly shows image and video thumbnails for the file being pointed at. And for an image shortcut, if you select it, it will show the image on the preview and info windows.
But for a video shortcut, it will not load the video preview. I suggest this functionality be added.
