When you do a lossless crop it says pixels must be multiples of 8 and an adjustment to the size will therefore be made if needed.
However when you crop something to an area clearly not on an 8-step grid (or 16...), the result does not, as expected from the above, have sizing multiples of 8, but the height may be an odd number.
Can someone explain briefly the exact process that happens in XNViewMP when the selection does not align onto an 8-by-8 grid.
I did look a while back and didn't spot the answer.
