Hi, I have seen some posts commenting on this problem, but it is many years old, yes I can see the thumbnails and open the EPS files, but with all the *.AI files I cannot see the thumbnails, and when I try to open them it shows an error “Cannot load file”.



I have installed the Ghostscript extension, and set the paths to the BIN and LIB folders in the environment variables.

As of today, is there any problem displaying *.AI files, or am I configuring Ghostscript wrong?

And from XnView Shell Extension, it shows this extension to be able to convert this type of files.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.9.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
