1.8.8 Chinese Simplified: Menu "prefrences" doesn't work

XnView: MP 1.8.8 - 64 bit (MacOS) - Libformat 7.221

If the language is set to "Chinese Simplified", menu `XnView` -> `Prefrences...` (`首选项` in Chinese Simplified) is not functioning. The shortcut `Command+,` is the same, but the icon on the toolbar works.

To reproduce:
1. Set `General -> Language` to `Chinese Simplified`
2. Restart XnView
3. Select main menu `XnView` -> `Prefrences...`

Actual behaviour (bug):
4. Nothing happens

Expected behaviour:
5. The `Settings` dialog is shown
