How to filter images without category?

What is the best and easiest way to find images without category?
I've got a lot of photos from single session and usually sort them in multiple passes. Often I need to see what remained unsorted (without category).
The only way I know is tedious and involves multiple clicks:
- click ... in Quick filter
- click Add > > Categories
- choose 'is'
- select current folder (it is not used by default in filter)
- wait for the process to finish
- click Browse

Is there any other way I'm missing?
Or maybe it could be a feature request?
