Writing IPTC Caption

I have been trying to insert 'Folder name' to the IPTC Caption field of multiple files and I have no problems doing this using:

'Metadata' 'Edit IPTC' 'Caption' 'Insert' 'Folder name' 'Write to all files'

The problem is that, the images have keywords which appear in both 'IPTC-IIM' and 'XMP' tabs which, prior to writing to the 'Caption' field, are correct. However, after writing the 'Caption' the keywords for all those images now include ALL the keywords from ALL the images (the XMP keywords are in, both, the dc list and the lr list, when, prior to writing the Caption, there is no lr list)
I presume that this is because it is writing ALL the items under the 'Edit IPTC-IIM' 'Keywords' tab, therefore adding them all to all files. Assuming this is what is happening, how do I ONLY write the Folder name to the IPTC Caption field, without affecting any of the keywords?

You can use Metadata>Transfer
Select target field (Iptc caption), and source metadata (folder name)

If you want to ADD folder name to existing captions, you can use iptc caption as source data, as welll as target field, and add folder name field...
