batch write keywords to png

Hi First, Thank you for your help .

Things are like this:

I have 56000 font png files. The name looks like " font_name-123.png "

I want to write the last number of keywords with IPTC.

I don't know what clear steps.
1. Selected all png
2. Edit IPTC, set keywords from {filename number},
3. Write to all files ? ---- Very slowly
4. transfer to Metadata menu. select iptc {filename number} ---- Very slowly
5. update catalog from file. ---- Very slowly

Is there a way use python to write keywords to png from filename last number?
