Hi there,
I'm trying to watch a folder with the hot folder option for a simple batch image resize action. My goal is: Start Xnview, copy some images to folder A and on folder B the resized images will be automatically generated.
What I have so far: I created a batch convert script with the desired resizing, checked the hot folder option and pressed start. Then the images in folder A are all being processed. Now I'm closing the batch convert dialog and if I'm then adding new images to folder A nothing happens.
Is this the correct way of using the hot folder option?
Thanx for your answers,
Bern

Re: Hot folder on Mac Sequoia not working
You are closing the whole XnConvert program? It's a long time since I used the Hot folder option, but I would expect to leave the program running while watching for new files arriving in the selected hot folder, minimised if you wish.BerndS wrote: Mon Jun 02, 2025 3:25 pm I'm trying to watch a folder with the hot folder option for a simple batch image resize action. Re: Hot folder on Mac Sequoia not working?
Ah - if the xnconvert window is still open, the hot folder option is working. This is a bit contra intuitive in the xnview App because with the open xnconvert window the main xnview app window is blocked.
Thx for the answer!
