Browser view does not remember grid size

Not sure when this started, but I noticed it in 1.9.0 when I changed the number of thumbnails in the view by zooming, and it persists in 1.9.2. I now have it set to a view zoom that shows me five thumbnails in a row when the program is in full-screen, filling the viewport. Close and reopen XNView MP and while it still shows five in a row, there is now blank space on the right side just narrower than a thumbnail, like it wants to show six instead. It is not remembering the view setting between uses.
