Startup - Start without file - Directory - Last, not working

Thanks a lot for keeping up with such a great piece of software!

I've recently updated my XnViewMP version to 1.9.3 64-bit (Libformat 7.226) on Windows, and realized that it stopped remembering the last folder when opening XnViewMP in browser, even if the setting "Last directory" under Settings - Startup - Start without file is checked.

I've played with this option a little and realized that in xnview.ini, the setting PathBrowser remains always blank even when startupType is set to 1.

May this be a little bug?

I had the same issue after updating to 1.9.3 on Windows 10. What fixed it for me was going to Settings > Startup > Start without file, then unchecking and re-checking 'Last directory', then closing XnViewMP completely. When I relaunched, it started remembering the last folder again. Might be a glitch with the ini not refreshing properly. Worth a try before diving into the config file.
