Zoom slider or finess hotkey

Sometimes i use XnViewMP to quickly cull trough the photos and want to see how it would look cropped.

There is a drag able crop box, but i disabled that i rather use zoom in (plus) / zoom out keys (minus) but currently its limited to very big steps.

Could be very handy to have custom modifier key that while holding it mouse wheel becomes the zoom wheel rather than whatever current function its assigned to. And when turning wheel while holding that button it zooms by little steps like 1% increase/decrease of zoom.

And that zoom is remembered so after zoom can drag the photo around and zoom level does not auto jump back.
