Unrecoverable random deletion of pics

Loosing all a folder's pictures or almost after having browsed it

Guys I'm sorry but I don't have any explanation or reproduction steps at the moment for this.
But I SWEAR it happened multiples times to me

I would browse a folder with pictures, no doing anything in particular, maybe I moved a filed to that folder, not sure.

Next time I go in it (generally less than a minute after), all my pics are gone in this folder. This happened just now and I had only less than 10 pics left.

I did not have any confirmation message. I wasn't trying in to delete anything

My settings in XN view are :
- Display a confirmation message when deleting
- Use the recycle bin
- Never delete marked items

And yet I don't find ANYTHING back in the recycle bin.

I subscribed to this forum only for this matter, I'm serious, it's real, and it's horrible. It ONLY ever happened to me while using Xn Viewer. I swear.

If you read this, at least could you tell me if any user has experienced this before ? Tried a few searches in the forum without any luck
