Hi,

XnView MP suddenly stopped starting on my Windows 11 PC.
When I try to launch it, I immediately get this error message:
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Reinstalling does not fix the issue.

System:
Windows 11 64-bit
XnView MP 64-bit (current version)

What happens:
The error appears immediately

What I already tried:

• Uninstalled XnView MP completely

• Reinstalled it

• Rebooted Windows

Same error every time

Make sure you're running 1.9.10, which was just released to address startup crashes. If the problem persists, report back here to confirm your version number.

That's why it's not good when people report "current version" as the version they're running. When you reported this, you were already a version out of date.

Pierre is tricky, and you have to keep an eye on that announcements page!
