8bf plugins
I have found some potentially misleading info on using 8bf files with Xnview MP, I have some 8bf files left over from Lightroom classic but would like the correct procedure to try them with MP.

Re: 8bf plugins
First, not all plugins will work. But that being said, the instructions in this post are mostly correct in principle:
viewtopic.php?p=170418#p170418
But the Photoshop plugins menu item has been moved since then. To access it, you must open an image in the viewer, and then you will find it on the "Effect" menu, not the "Image" menu.
In the photoshop plugins dialog, you must first add the directory for your plugin, by clicking the Configure button. Make sure you properly select the 64 bit or 32 bit version to match XnViewMP. Once the directory is added, the plugin should appear in the list in the dialog, and you will be able to click the Start button to activate it.
Hopefully this helps. Good luck...
