Catalog Filter - add quick filter

A quick filter in the Catalog filter panel would be great when having a lot of categories so less scrolling needed.

Indeed, the Quick filter's absence from the Catalog Filter has always baffled me, as it is already capable, at least partially, of searching the catalog.

I would add that if implemented in the Catalog Filter, the Quick filter should be able to filter to any of the former's aspects: categories, yes, but also ratings, color labels, properties, bref, all the Catalog Filter offers.

Yes, and sub-nodes.

Also, based on KLE-France's idea, ability to select main nodes, in which the search(filter) will be.
Something like this maybe? When the little magnifiyng glass popup is open:
