Can there be a background program to monitor the folder?
Now, if I accidentally click on 
, the software closes and cannot watch the folder. It would be great if there was a program like XnConvert Helper that could continuously monitor in the background.

And what action would you want to occur, are you possibly referring to the XnConvert / XnView MP Batch convert 'Hot folder' folder watching action?
