Opening Sigma .X3F files with SIGMA_PhotoPro6.app

I use XnView MP (v1.9.10) on my Mac.

When I open Sigma .X3F files with SIGMA_PhotoPro6.app (right click>Open with>..) all that opens is the Sigma app, but not the file. I need to navigate to it in SIGMA_PhotoPro6.

However, when I open other file types, the actual file opens in my other associated program (Affinity)

Can I configure XnView MP so Sigma .X3F files open directly in the Sigma app without needing to navigate to it? Or is this an issue with the Sigma app?


I've search on the term 'Sigma' and can't find anything so asking this question.

I’m not technical but how can I view the argument being sent from XnView MP?
