I have exactly the same problem. When viewing a svg file, I can't navigate to previous or next file (all files in current folder are svgs). I have to close the viewer and open the next svg manually, changing the filter settings doesn't help.

looks like there is some issue in Viewer filelist

to reproduce
0. prerequisites
  • have image and .svg in folder
  • default settings
    • Browser
Custom filter: 'Exclude' has svg svgz
    • Viewer
      Custom filter: 'Exclude' checked
1. go to Settings > View > Filter
- uncheck Exclude
filelist updated
index counter (in Statusbar) is not updated
2. restart app
3. open image in Viewer
.svg will be in filelist - OK
4. restart app
5. open image in Viewer
.svg will not show in filelist anymore
