I have not found a solution in your forum. I've been using XnView for decades. I've got the newest version of MP and when I want to view a pdf file, I get told, I need ghostscript 64.
First I tried updating the portable ghostscript from PortableApps.com, but it isn't seen by XnView.
Then I installed the installed version of ghostscript 64 on the laptop (new, Lenovo, Win11) and restarted the whole laptop, but to no avail. I still get the popup instead of the file viewing.
What am I missing? Thanks...

Re: PDF and Ghostscript
Hello
I have the exact same problem with XnConvert.
I have XnConvert and Ghostcript installed on my W11 computer.
I'm trying to convert a PDF file into JPG files, 1 JPG per page.
But when I add a PDF file and try to convert it, I got the error "not a image"
I don't know what to do.
Thank you for your help.

Re: PDF and Ghostscript
There have in the fairly recent past been at least two cases where new GS versions have not been compatible with existing xnview software versions, requiring current xnview software versions to be updated for compatibility. So if everything else seems to be in order, it might be worth testing compatibility with immediately previous Ghostscript downloads.

Re: PDF and Ghostscript
I remember using GhostScript back in the 80's…
It was a pain in the neck then, too.
