XnView MP 1.10.5 64bit Linux .deb
Tools > Settings > TitleBar
into "Viewer" i can add various properties, but I am unable to find current zoom "level" %
In the viewer, I am missing anywhere on the screen this figure so i know at which zoom level (%) i am at.
Allow adding zoom % to the title bar of the XnView MP?

Linux user, .deb package. Use private services like Proton.me, not surveillance services like Google, Meta.

You can use {Zoom}% to add this information to the Info overlay (Settings:View:Info, press "I" to show it when viewing), but unfortunately the {Zoom} variable doesn't work in the titlebar.
I agree, it would be nice if it did.

Yes, I already have zoom in overlay text in full screen view, but in regular view, it is entirely missing.

It's not "missing", you just have it turned off in regular view.postcd wrote: Tue Mar 31, 2026 6:13 pm Yes, I already have zoom in overlay text in full screen view, but in regular view, it is entirely missing.
As I said, press the "i" key to turn it on, and once on it will stay on. If the i key doesn't work, it's because you've changed the shortcut; check your viewer-mode shortcuts for cmd_infoShow.

Do you have your Status Bar activated?
Click View > make sure "Status bar" is activated (or press Ctrl+Shift+B).
In the regular View mode, the zoom is furnished on that bar. At least it is in my XnView MP.

Yes, as KLE points out, the Status Bar is another way to show Zoom. Although Zoom might not necessarily be shown on your status bar; it is configurable.
Go to Tools->Settings:Interface:StatusBar and ensure Zoom is enabled in the Viewer section. Then it will display when the Status Bar is enabled.

The above adds the zoom to the customizable information on the left of the Status Bar, but the zoom is always displayed on the right of the bar. At least it is on my computer... But maybe that's specific to certain systems? (I'm on Windows 10 home, 64-bit, most recent XnView version).jkm wrote: Wed Apr 01, 2026 6:10 pm Go to Tools->Settings:Interface:StatusBar and ensure Zoom is enabled in the Viewer section. Of no particular importance of course. If, for some reason a user doesn't have the zoom on the right, they can indeed add it on the left as per jkm's instructions above.

Yes, you're right! If you enable the setting, the zoom level is actually displayed twice!KLE-France wrote: Thu Apr 02, 2026 7:19 am The above adds the zoom to the customizable information on the left of the Status Bar, but the zoom is always displayed on the right of the bar.
