Sizing the exif pane in full screen?

Hi,

when I move the mouse to the very right of the screen in full-screen view, the EXIF / meta-data pane pops in from the right side.

This is fine, but for some reason that takes 2/3 of my wide screen monitor - overlapping most of the picture. I would have expected to be able to move the mouse to the "border" of the pane vs. the center and resize the pane - but that does not work.

Is there a way to influence how much space it will take up? Right now it is much wider than 99% of my EXIF / metadata fields.
