Unable to load database during reinstallation
After reinstalling Windows 11, I reinstalled v1.11.2 exe and overwrote all the backup files under C:\Users\alee\AppData\Roaming\XnViewMP, but MP was not loaded and restored. What could be the reason?

Re: Unable to load database during reinstallation
Thank you for the suggestion, but even after I manually changed the path to C:\Users\alee\AppData\Roaming\XnViewMP as shown in the image, it still didn't work? (The 50GB database cannot load ratings and categories.)

Re: Unable to load database during reinstallation
1. change 'Database - Catalog' path
2. close app
3. copy backed-up XnView.db to this path, replacing existing file if present
4. open app and check Database content in Settings>Catalog

Re: Unable to load database during reinstallation
I've tried uninstalling MP, restarting the computer, and reinstalling, with all settings set to default and overwriting the entire folder, but it still didn't work.
Last year, I also tried reinstalling Windows without changing any settings; simply overwriting the entire folder restored everything.

Re: Unable to load database during reinstallation
The video is too large to upload. The following steps restore the settings:
1) Download XnView MP 1.11.2 Windows x64 SETUP from viewtopic.php?t=50659
2) Select Traditional Chinese during installation and use the standard installation (without the XnView shell extension).
3) Open MP once to confirm the version, then exit the program.
4) Copy and paste the backup folder (see image) and overwrite existing files in C:\Users\alee\AppData\Roaming\XnViewMP.
5) Open MP again. The layout settings should restore, but ratings and categories will not load and display.
I tried installing with the older version, XnView MP 1.10.5, but it was the same and ineffective.

Re: Unable to load database during reinstallation
I reinstalled Windows twice last week and found the following:
* Before the first reinstall, I updated from Windows 11 Pro 23H2 to 25H2, and everything worked fine.
* During the first Windows reinstall using MS ISO 25H2, MS Office malfunctioned due to the changed date format, but XnView MP could restore it.
* During the second Windows reinstall using Dell ISO 25H2, MS Office functioned normally before the date format was restored, but XnView MP could not restore it.
I believe the issue is related to the major update to Windows 25H2, which changed the date format. If the problem cannot be resolved, I will have to abandon MP.
