After new image added, the view automatically jumps to the end [Solved]

After new image is added to current view folder from outside the XnView, the view automatically jumps to the last image. I'm using sort by modified date desc.

This is not a bug. Please only post in the bug report board when you're certain you have a bug.

You are seeing the effect of selectable behavior. Please adjust your settings in Tools->Settings:File List
You'll want to adjust "New Files are added at the end of the list" and "Auto-select new files" to suit your preference.

thanks for your reply. after adjust the settings as you mentioned, XnView works great and as I expected.
