Sort by the date the photo was taken

Hi, I'm not sure if you've already commented on this in a previous post, but I haven't been able to find it to respond there.

I'm wondering if anyone can explain how to configure the settings so that photos are sorted by the date and time they were taken.

When I sort the photos in Windows Explorer by the date they were taken on the camera, the order is different from what appears in XnView. I’m trying out several of the options in the settings.



And I’m just making a bigger mess of it, because I’m changing the date values in the files to see if I can get them to sort the same way they do in Windows Explorer. The order I want is based on the date and time the photo was taken on the camera.

How can I achieve this?
