AV1

Post by biley »

could you send me a sample file?
The attached file for example. It was originally a .webm file but I had to rename it as a .mp4 to be able to attach it in this platform.

It plays fine on my system as a .webm or a .mp4 in VLC or version 1.9.2 of xnviewmp, but in the beta of version 1.11.4 I don't get any visuals.

It does print the error messages:

[av1 @ 0x56521052b6c0] Your platform doesn't support hardware accelerated AV1 decoding.
[av1 @ 0x56521052b6c0] Failed to get pixel format.
[av1 @ 0x56521052b6c0] Get current frame error

If that helps.

Beta 3 has fixed my issue playing AV1 codecs, but there is a regression in Beta 3 for me when playing other video files.

In some videos, the video plays but when I click on the progress bar to jump around in the video (or when the video ends) the program crashes and terminates.

It prints the error message "Segmentation fault (core dumped) ./xnview.sh"

I have attached a clip of a video where this happens.
