I did a jpeg xl conversion with Xnview mobile. It works fine.
In gallery view I see the filename of the jpeg xl file, but the thumbnail is black.
I can open the jpeg xl file in Xnview mobile and see it correctly in fullscreen view.

If the jpeg xl file is the only file in the folder, the album view does not show the thumbnail on the folder.

I tested the same situation in folder view and everything works perfect!

I think XnView Mobile use the media storage of Android and this system actually does not support the jpeg xl file format.

Sorry, but I don't really understand this explanation. If you can show thumbnails in Folder View, why can't you use the same method elsewhere?

The problem is not the thumbnail. In Gallery mode i can't only show files that Android knows
