Currently I am trying to configure xnviewmp to show thumbnails, filename, and full filepath without having to click on each thumbnail. The full filepaths are long and dynamic in nature. In several view configurations the filepaths are concatenated to the point of being unusable.
What I have discovered/tried so far:
1.Details View Works Perfectly with the exception it won't display a thumbnail.: I have configured Settings -> Browser -> Details Columns to show only Name and Path. When viewing files in strict Details view, it perfectly reflects this clean layout.
2.Thumbnails & Details Does Not Inherit: Even though Details View is updated, the Thumbnails & Details view completely ignores those settings. It continues to display the extra unbolded rows (Date, Size, Exif) below the filename.
3.Tooltip Settings are Separate: Modifying the text box under Settings -> Browser -> Tooltip successfully changed my yellow hover boxes in Thumbnail and Label view and concatenates the path so the data is unusable, but it has no effect on the hard coded text lines displayed in the Thumbnails & Details grid cell.
4. Please note I am aware that when I click in Thumbnails & Details on an indvidual thumbnail there is a folder box below that has a properties tab that displays fullpath. When I hover over a new thumbnail the folder box stays static until clicked on. This is too slow for culling when dealing with large photo sets.
Question:How or where do I edit the template configuration specifically for the text lines inside the Thumbnails & Details view mode in version 1.11.5 to get thumbnail,filename and filepath? Is there a hidden .ini file flag or a separate configuration form to strip these default fields and map {Directory} as the second line?
