Re: Next features
Thank you for adding new interesting features.
Every gallery app has special features, which make it important.
JPEGXL and image comparison would be a great idea for the future.
In my opinion some basic features are more important than e.g. changing metadata or image compare at the moment.
My priority #1 feature is deleting a single file, because I make much photos of the same object and want to delete the bad photos in your app.

Re: Next features
Variable thumbnail sizes for thumbnail view, please. Large tablet screens can easily show more than 3 images across the screen.

Re: Next features
I see that there is more planned than meets the eye. This will certainly please many people, although I guess that many of the most interesting ones will be in the paid PRO version.
For now, it would be good to see full support for JPEGXL and file deletion.

Re: Next features
- Rotate, crop, adjust (contrast, gamma, exposure,...). Removing XnConvert, ResizeMe would free some spaces
- Manage, restore dates for videos as most tools managing videos erase or reset metadata for date/time. So far I use EXIF Pro. It works fine for both pictures and videos but becomes obsolete vs new releases of Android
- Set date/time based on timestamp in the filename. I managed to create scripts (.cmd) to do that on my PC and I'm reluctant to start equivalent dev’ on Android
Daniel, happy user for 20 years, to manage photo and videos and share them in slideshows (Windows 11, Linux Ubuntu and Android)

Re: Next features
I hope you can add a function to add or rename a folder in different views (e.g. album view, folder view, etc.) to better sort picture files.

Re: Next features
JPEG XL support.
There is too few android apps that support JPEG XL viewing. I know currently only one gallery app (Fossify) that has it. And one file manager (was it Mixx maybe), then there is individual viewers here and there that have just decoding and pretty much nothing else.
Worth keeping in mind is that there is most likely a systemwide support coming as well as Chromium has it already but only question is how long it will take to arrive. AFAIK it is not yet in android 17, probably earliest android 18 but more likely android 19, so if android 17 starts arriving in autumn to flagships and maybe in spring to midrange devices it could take until year 2029-2030 to have the systemwide support (and even then old devices will lack it).

Re: Next features
Support for the JPEG XL format has been in this application from the very beginning.
Currently, errors related to more than just this format are being detected and systematically removed.
