v32 - Conversion of HEIC format to JPEG XL looses EXIF data

I converted my jpeg and heic format files to jpeg xl. All source files have EXIF-Data.

If I convert a source file with exif-data to JPEG XL, the destination file does not have exif-data.
Is it possible to save jpeg xl files with exif-data? I though jpeg xl support it.

It's normal for heic, currently i use the default android libraries, i'll change that for heic/avif soon.
But if you convert a jpeg with exif into a jpegxl, it will have exif too
