Today I tested the conversion of HEIC format pictures to JPEGXL format.
The conversion of the pictures works well.
The conversion did not copy all EXIF-Data from the original file to the destination JPEGXL file.
Instead, however, EXIF and XMP metadata were created for the image orientation. Wouldn't it be enough to just save the EXIF data? It looks to me like the program is also creating XMP data that isn't even needed.
So I see a XMP entry in photo detail view, which show me the same informations as EXIF data.
