If we save a large file in HEIC format using lossless compression (according to my tests, this occurs with files larger than 16 MB; there are no issues with files smaller than 16 MB), XnView saves the file but is unable to open it. The file is saved successfully regardless, as programmes such as the Windows Photo Viewer and Paint.NET open it without any issues.

However, the error can be reproduced with any other image.
Effect: XnView displays the message ‘File can’t be loaded!’ when you try to open it.
To reproduce:
1. Save any large image (over 16 MB in file size) in the HEIC lossless file format
2. XnView displays the message ‘File can’t be loaded!’ when you try to open it
Actual behaviour (bug): XnView displays the message ‘File can't be loaded!’
Expected behaviour: XnView should open the image, just like other programmes do.
