Selection randomly changes when images are added to a folder [Solved]

I have a folder where images can be added to outside the app. The app refreshes the folder as expected, however since recently (I'm on 1.11.6) it's also automatically selecting the newly added image.

This can be very annoying as it also scrolls to whatever what automatically selected.

Is that a known bug? or if it's not a bug but a feature, can that feature be disabled from somewhere?

Settings → File List → Automatically select new files
