I don't know from where it comes, if it's the Crop tool that modify the lightning or the comparison tool but I found an unexpected difference.
I made a safe copy of a recent picture, did a Crop 16:9 and compared.
1st of all, it's not obvious to see the cropped one over the original. I expected to be able to see the cropped one alone on one side and the original on the other.
Second, the cropped one looks a bit darker (visible also in the graphs). We can see the limit of the 16:9 and the darker wall.
