1.12.1: Batch convert doesn't always follow the number of cores used.

XnView: MP 1.12.1 64bit
OS: Windows 11 26H2 26300.9457

When batch converting with multicore, XnView MP doesn't always follow the setting of the number of cores used.
It seems to be completely random. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't and uses all the threads available.

I've tried to play with a few settings and start with a new config folder. The problem persists.

Effect: None, I guess? It still converts files just fine.
To reproduce: Convert multiple images.
Expected behaviour: Always follow the number of the cores.
