Hello,
Newbie here, so please forgive if we already have this and I can't find it...
Please could we have the facility for adding labels (esp red, orange, blue etc) to images in the Viewer window as well as in the thumbnails? Working on a laptop means the thumbnails make it difficult to decide whether an image needs a label, and of what kind. Running through the images in Viewer mode would make this much easier. I have recently moved away from Adobe Bridge (too big and cumbersome for the laptop, and XnView is an excellent package), but I miss this particular facility.
Any useful responses appreciated.
TIA
labels etc

Re: labels etc
As I see it, this is easily possible yet and - as often - in many ways:
You can use keyboard shortcuts, as shown in the Metadata menu. Works even in fullscreen mode.
You can customize the toolbar to show the regarding sub-menus, or even every single colour or rating option.
Of course, you have to activate the Toolbar, if needed. These are all more or less basics.
If your question would be "Is there an option to actually see these properties" in viewer mode: You can define a little info window which shows exactly what you want (only in text form), see Tools, Settings (F12), Viewer
