XnView: MP 1.12.1 - 64 bit

When navigating through a directory containing both videos and directories with the keyboard, the image file after a video file cannot be checked. This seems only to happen when cmd_tag is set to a custom key (in my case the space key), it works with the default key combination.
Effect: nothing happens.
To reproduce:
1. Set cmd_tag to the space key
2. Open a directory containing both video and image files
3. Navigate through the directory with the arrow keys, use the space key to check some files. Try to check video files or an image file directly after a video file
Actual behaviour (bug): nothing happens
Expected behaviour: image is checked
