XnView MP 1.12.2 (Win 11): exits immediately when started without a file

Settings > Startup: "Start with file: Open Viewer", "Start without file: Open browser" unchecked.
Starting XnView MP without a file shows no window and the process exits (exit code 0, no error).

Debug output ends with "## BaseViewWindow :: ~BaseViewWindow()" right after start.
Starting with a file works. Checking "Open browser" is a workaround.

It worked in 1.12.0.
