OS: Macos 27.2 – 64-bit
The problem is with Raw files from Sony A7RM6 14-bit and 12-bit
There are no problem to open these Raw’s but XnView behaves differently
When I use XnView for viewing my Raw files this happens:
* 14-bit Raw it do not use the embedded preview and open at 24% (because image size is 9986*6686 pixels) when viewing on my Macbook M1 Pro.
When zooming to 100% the image get’s bigger ( this is want I want )and it’s easier to check if I missed focus etc.
* 12-bit Raw it do use the embedded preview and open at 152% (the embedded preview size is 1616*1080) .
When zooming to 100% the image get’s smaller because of the small embedded preview size has less resolution than my monitor on my Macbook M1 Pro has.
This makes it hard to check the 12 bit files for focus errors
Is there a way to have XnView read the fullsize even for the 12-bit Raw’s?
Steps to reproduce
1. open a 14-bit Raw from Sony A7RM6 and it shows the image size as fullsize and zoom to 100% and the image get bigger.
2. open a 12-bit Raw from Sony A7RM6 and it shows the image size as 1616*1080 (embedded size) and zoom to 100% and the image get smaller.
Actual behaviour (bug): XnView Reads imagesize different on 12-bit vs 14-bit Raw files from Sony A7RM6
Expected behaviour: Read the fullsize image on both types of Raw.
