Improve desktop folder loading time...
Please improve desktop folder loading time [ the first time opening the folder C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Desktop\ after a reboot ]. Currently, it take longer for that folder to load--especially annoying when desktop folder is set as the default startup folder. xplorer2 [ www.zabkat.com ] manages to improve the desktop folder load time [perhaps by scanning for less system files--not sure]. Thanks.

This is a different issue.Dreamer wrote:<Moderator's note: This topic is likely to be a duplicate, please add new posts in the similar topic.>
Re: [Duplicate?] Improve desktop folder loading time...
I don't have many files--only a few. This issue seems to affect Windows Explorer, too. I not sure exactly how xplorer2 manages to improve on this issue. But somehow it seems possible to avoid it.xnview wrote:But you have many files???TsunamiZ wrote:Please improve desktop folder loading time [ the first time opening the folder C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Desktop\ after a reboot ].
