good to hear (i guess i'm not authorized to send out test versions; so ... it's better to wait such a short time).
When the version is out, could you please report whether the problem is fixed for you too?

Pierre: the libgfl.pas will be updated regarding the prototype def for the new dll's and the new constants (eg. GFL_LOAD_EMBEDDED_THUMBNAIL)?
If you want so i could send you my version (but i don't know the new constants).

Wouldn't it be appropriate to do a beta/rc-testing-phase before official releasing the new version?

2.40 included a range of more or less trivial to fix bugs that could have been sorted out before official release...

Good suggestions, I strongly second this. Having individual people testing things and other people having now chance to do testing is no good. I think any new RC version of the SDK should be made public here. All should be able to get it or noone should get it.
