A users has reported the following behaviour as a bug:
When double-clicking with left mouse button during slide-show, the slide-show switches to the previous images and then cancels.
Currently I don't know whether it's a feature or a bug. It might have to do with the middle mouse-button.

Too easy to accidentally exit?
Perhaps exit is too easy when navigating quickly with mouse button.
