Focal distance as additional entry in pictures properties

Post by Hendrik »

I suggest a new feature. Although it may be small, it adds much comfort.

When the user displays the EXIF-tags of an image, there should be also an entry showing the EXIF-value corrected to a standard 35-mm-camera.
I am not sure, if the correction factor can be determined from the other EXIF tags, otherwise it would have to be entered somewhere in the preferences.

I am aware, that this feature is camera specific. But I am using XNview as a browser for my digital camera. While the manufacturers browser shows the corrected value, the values displayed by XNview (although physically correct) mean nothing to me.

Would other users also value such feature ?
